Section Preparation:
Before having your first section meeting, you need to do the following:
- Get a list of youth from the GC and figure out your patrols
- Make a check-list of equipment you need (first aid kit, hand sanitizer, etc...)
- Get the list of parent volunteers for your section from the GC and reach out to see who can help you - you may need to enlist a scouter
Section Meeting Planning Checklist:
- Who is the scouter in charge?
- Who will take attendance (possibly parent volunteer, or Willingdon staff)?
- Who is the first aider?
- How will you get necessary supplies, including:
- First Aid Kit
- Member details booklet (GC will provide this)
- Incident report form (2)
- Anything you need for your adventures (compasses, GPSes, walkie-talkies, Garmin Mini, etc...)
- Fill out the new Adventure Application Form - Pandemic Edition and send to Scouter Robert
