Wilbur Helps Maintain the Pack's Geocache

Two years ago, the 4SW Cub Pack placed a Geocache in Cariboo Park in Vancouver just a few blocks from Cascade school where we meet. This cache was needing some maintenance and then actually disappeared, so we got Wilbur, our visiting cub (sheep, actually) from Mawson Lakes, South Australia, to help us with the maintenance.

Here is the link to the Geocache's page on geocaching.com:

And here are some pictures of Wilbur helping set the new cache in place:

The new cache. Log book, pencil, hot wheels toy for children to trade, 2 camp fire badges

In a pouch and hidden by low-hanging evergreen boughs.

You can barely see it from a few feet away!

Invisible from here! This hiding place is Wilbur-approved!

Traveling Wilbur

Late in February 4SW got a special visitor. The cubs from the Zulu pack of Mawson Lakes, South Australia sent us their friend Wilbur. He has been traveling through Vancouver Island on his way to the east coast and we were privileged to have a chance to show him some hospitality.

While the cubs will be hosting him initially, we'll give our beavers a chance to enjoy him as well.

Wilbur has his own blog site which you can see here:
http://wilbarandfriends.blogspot.com.au/

And a closed Facebook page you can request access to here:

Mawson Lakes can be found here (just outside Adelaide):
